SPECIAL CONCERT TO CELEBRATE HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH



PITTSBURGH -- In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, The Latin American Cultural Union, LACU, will present a concert by David Haro, renowned singer/songwriter from the Mexican state of Veracruz, on Saturday, September 20 at 8 p.m. in the Henry Clay Frick Fine Arts Auditorium in Oakland, across from Carnegie Library and the new Schenley Plaza.

David Haro, a prolific writer of poetic songs from the El Sotavento region of Veracruz, Mexico, will bring his folkloric magic to Pittsburgh in a one-night only concert sponsored by the Latin American Cultural Union. Tickets are available through the LACU website, www.lacunet.org. David Haro's Pittsburgh performance will be enjoyed by two great local Venezuelan musicians;
José Ernesto Guillén on percussion
and Layo Puentes on bass.
